DS Smith acquisition of SCA given approval
DS Smith Plc is pleased to announce that at their General Meeting earlier today, the motion for the acquisition of SCA Packaging was passed on a show of hands without amendment. The passing of the resolutions will enable DS Smith to proceed with the proposed acquisition of SCA.

Rexam is awarded The Shingo Prize
Rexam, the global consumer packaging company, has announced that its Águas Claras beverage can plant in Brazil has been awarded The Shingo Prize. This follows the award of the Shingo Silver medal and Bronze medal respectively to two other Rexam plants in Brazil. 
 
 
 
Brains unveils updated bottles
Welsh brewer Brains has unveiled updated bottles for its ales range, created by integrated brand design agency Blue Marlin. The new bottles will roll out across the UK this month. Blue Marlin also redesigned the brewer's on-trade presence for its cask ales.
