It is with regret that Rigid Containers have reported the sudden death of 53-year-old Paul Coates, Financial Director, on Saturday 7th January, 2012. Mr Coates had a long and distinguished career as a Financial Director in a number of companies and had worked in his present role at Rigid for the past three years.

“Paul was universally respected and liked by his colleagues and he was a greatly valued member of the strong management team that has been built up over the past few years,” comments Richard Coward, Managing Director of Rigid. 

“His professional and pragmatic approach, together with his quiet, dry sense of humour will be sorely missed by all of his colleagues. Naturally, our condolences are extended to his partner, his two daughters and the rest of his family and close friends at this time.”
